I've been getting a lot of the same questions lately. Everyone wants to know whether or not to stage their home. Luckily, I have some great answers for you. With spring approaching here in the Minneapolis area, now is a good time to consider this.

Staging Your Home: The Ins and Outs

On average, staged homes garner 8% more in a sale when compared to empty homes or un-staged properties.
This doesn't mean you need to buy new furnishings: What I mean by 'staging' a home is that you need to organize your home in such a way that any buyer can walk inside and feel comfortable.

Try to enhance the appearance of different rooms, especially the kitchen and living room. Aim for neutrality, but make sure these areas feel welcoming and not empty.
Also aim to make your home more functional by clearing away unnecessary clutter or rearranging existing furnishings.
